The 2008 LR 2 is a four-door, luxury sport utility vehicle built for five. It comes in one model, the SE, which has a 3.2-liter, 230-horsepower, in-line 6 engine with multipoint fuel injection. A six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.
Body and Styling
The LR2 has chunky good looks and bristles with youthful energy in keeping with its sport leanings. Among the new exterior features are front fog lights, body-colored front and rear bumpers, headlight cleaners, luxury trim wood and leather for the dashboard, rear window with defogger, and windshield wipers with rain sensor. The interior includes air conditioning with climate control, an Alpine audio system with AM/FM, knee air bags, and a low tire-pressure indicator.
Safety Features
The LR2 is loaded with safety features.
