Overview
Land Rover introduced LR2 for the 2008 model year. The 2010 Land Rover LR2 luxury sport utility vehicle accommodates five passengers and mainly takes on the Acura RDX and Infiniti EX35. The Land Rover LR2 is available in single well equipped trim - HSE.
Powertrain And Performance
A 3.2-liter, inline-6, engine good for 230-horsepower and 234 pound-feet of torque powers the 2010 Land Rover LR2. The engine is teamed with a six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It comes with Land Rover's Terrain Response system, which uses a console switch to alter suspension and powertrain calibrations to suit a variety of on-road and off-road conditions.
Build And Styling
The 2010 Land Rover LR2 maintains a strong presence and the design cues such as the front-fender vents--reminds those of its bigger siblings, the LR3 and Range Rover Sport. It comes bristling with youthful energy in keeping with its sport leanings. Mainly a carryover model from 2009, the 2010 Land Rover LR2 features 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control and an Alpine audio system.
An HSE exterior badge; body-colored rear spoiler; double sided, zinc coated steel outer body panels; and titanium-finished door handles are some of the important exterior features. Other notable interior features include leather wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel, eight-way power driver seat, six-way power front seat, power windows and a multifunction trip computer.
The LR2 HSE Plus Package adds SIRIUS Satellite Digital Audio Receiver System, Bluetooth telephone connectivity, HD digital radio, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, and memory system for driver's seat. The LR2 LUX Package includes all the features of the HSE plus DVD navigation, Alpine Premium 480-watt sound system with 14 speakers. Safety Features
The 2010 LR2 comes equipped with a host of standard safety devices including seven air bags; enhanced braking systems including a brake assist system, cornering brake control, and electronic brake distribution; traction control; tire pressure monitoring system; roll stability control; and vehicle security system.
