2010 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT Review

The Range Rover Sport is a luxury SUV engineered for those who take their driving seriously and want a smaller, sportier driving companion with urban styling. For 2010, it comes with a re-designed exterior and interior, improved Active Damping, new brakes and an updated Terrain Response system.
Powertrain And Performance
Like the regular Range Rover, the Sport comes with the same 5.0L direct-inject V8s from Jaguar in either naturally aspirated (NA) or supercharged versions plus a new six-speed automatic transmission. The NA pumps out 375 hp and 375 lb-ft of torque while the supercharged makes 510 hp and 461 lb-ft of torque and the latter good for 5.9-second sprints to 60 mph. These engines provide greater performance with improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. The Terrain Response system now features the dynamic setting which has been designed for "sporting on-road driving".

The new Range Rover Sport sports a striking exterior design changes that create a more stylish and sporting look and the interior has been redesigned bringing new levels of refinement and craftsmanship. A new two-bar grille centered in the revised front end and new rear tail-lamps nestled above a redesigned rear bumper visible.

The new Bilstein dampers come with continuously variable valving, optimized in real-time by predictive, computer-modeled electronics. Interestingly, the Range Rover Sport features more than 3,000 new parts. Many of them are in the reworked interior.
A new 5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) information screen is also introduced with the 2010 Range Rover Sport. Housed in the instrument cluster, the message center display ensures key information is communicated in a clean, simple and user-friendly manner. The seats, deeply sculpted with electrically adjustable side bolsters, are totally new for 2010.
